Our Hollow Stem Auger Rigs

Hollow Stem Auger - CME 75 HT

BC2 Environmental’s CME 75 HT auger rigs may be a little smaller than their bigger siblings, but they are just as capable in power and performance! These rigs have been outfitted with the High Torque package which boosts the rotational torque to 13,000 ft lbs to handle those deeper borings. Up to 20,000 lbs pulldown and 30,000 lbs retract force, BC2’s CME-75 HT rigs are also outfitted with angle packages to drill up to 45 degrees off vertical. These rigs can sample soil using either down-hole, 140 lb split-spoon samplers or SPT auto hammers.

Hollow Stem Auger - CME 85

BC2’s Central Mining Equipment (CME) 85 drill rigs are true workhorses. With rotary torque of up to 20,000 lbs., it can turn larger diameter augers in almost any soil condition and with a 465 rpm rotational speed, it can also handle both rotary and coring jobs with ease. With 28,000 lbs. of pull-down force, the CME-85 can drill and set wells in deeper zones that many hollow-stem auger rigs cannot reach. These rigs can sample soil using either 140 lb. down hole hammer or auto hammer with split spoon, continuous, or SPT samplers. These rigs are capable of converting from hollow stem auger to mud rotary drilling when subsurface conditions change.”

Hollow Stem Auger - CME 95

The Central Mining Equipment (CME) 95 drill rig is the flagship rig of BC2 Environmental’s fleet. One of the most powerful truck-mounted drill rigs available today, the mechanical rotary drive with power shift transmission produces up to 31,000 ft. lbs. of torque and rotational speed up to 497 rpm. The BC2 CME-95 rigs have the speed and power to handle auger up to 14-inch diameter auger to set wells as large as 8-inches or can be outfitted for rotary and coring applications for deeper geotechnical and lithologic applications. These rigs can sample soil using either down-hole, 140 lb. split-spoon samplers or SPT auto hammers.

Track Rig CME 850

The CME-850 Track Rig is a powerful and versatile drill designed to tackle demanding environmental and geotechnical projects. Designed to power through difficult ground, it has the strength and reach to handle everything from soil to rock while drilling deeper boreholes with ease. Its tall mast gives it the ability to work on bigger jobs, while the track-mounted design allows it to move across rough or uneven terrain with stability. Compact yet heavy-duty, the CME-850’s track-mounted design offers excellent mobility on challenging terrain, making it well-suited for remote or difficult-access sites.

TRACK HSA/ MUD LKS-85

The LKS-85 is a versatile, track-mounted drilling rig built for productivity, mobility, and adaptability across a wide range of projects. Engineered for geotechnical, environmental, and construction drilling, it is designed to perform in rugged terrain and on job sites where both power and precision are critical. With its robust hydraulic system and precise feed control, the LKS-85 delivers dependable results in soil and rock conditions that challenge lighter rigs. What sets the LKS-85 apart is its ability to seamlessly transition between drilling methods. Capable of hollow stem auger (HSA), mud rotary, core sampling, and casing installation, this rig adapts to the demands of each project, eliminating the need for multiple machines.

Limited Access Rig DRS L-10-T

The Limited Access Rig is purpose-built for drilling projects where space is restricted, terrain is uneven, or access is limited. Compact yet powerful, this rig provides the same full-scale drilling performance you would expect from larger machines, but in a smaller footprint that can operate in tight or sensitive areas. From urban construction sites with low overhead clearance to remote projects with narrow entry points, the Limited Access Rig is designed to go where other rigs cannot. Its track-mounted design gives it excellent maneuverability and stability, allowing crews to safely navigate slopes, soft ground, or rugged terrain.

CME 1050

The CME 1050 is a rugged, all-terrain drilling workhorse designed for projects where conventional rigs struggle to reach. Built for mobility and strength, it is perfectly suited for job sites where roads are rough, terrain is soft, or access is undeveloped. Mounted on oversized balloon tires, the rig delivers exceptional flotation and off-road capability, allowing it to traverse mud, sand, snow, and uneven ground with ease. This means fewer site preparation requirements, faster mobilization, and the ability to complete drilling programs in areas that are typically inaccessible to heavier or track-mounted equipment.
